今天从微软得到的头条新闻是Longhorn将天然支持RSS，许多bloggers大概会对这条消息写更多和更好的新闻。我们在Gnomedex这里有幸看到了第一次公开预览的IE 7。
并且API 和信息将在创作共用的协议下准许发表。
对此产生了热烈的讨论。标准？邪恶的帝国？以及Jedi保持沉默。
底线。这是了不起的第一步。我们看到对于父母那一辈来说，它仍然太难以掌握（geeky）, 它应该更好和更加容易一些。我知道, 为此将产生一些非常酷的东西。（从bing那里看到：当你在URL栏访问一个网站时, 如果被你拜访的网站提供读者RSS订阅功能.。那RSS的标记就会显示在URL栏上, 你一按它,它就会问你:订阅吗或告诉你什么是RSS, 如果你选订, 那么只要提供RSS订阅功能的网站采用的是”标准”的RSS, 几秒中后, 你喜欢读的新闻或网志就会存在浏览器上, 即时地向你提供信息, “喜新厌旧”也非常简单。）我希望苹果公司能快速出击。
同时，Dave Winer近日透露了一些微软对RSS大感兴趣事。据说微软发现了这个简单工具的一些特性，觉得它不但可以用于Blog，而且也可用于商品推销，比如itune的最新歌曲等。另外，在slashdot的讨论也很热烈。

What a well-researched article — thanks for putting in the time to look into the back-stories of all these famous brands. I had no idea the Twitter bird came from iStockPhoto, of all places!
