微软的blog策略会降低Pike的热情吗？

Microsoft Blog Policy Coming Down the Pike?

至少到现在为止，大大小小的公司们还没有对其日益增长的bloggers骨干权衡利弊。但是，现在即将要发生变化了。
事实上，越来越多微软雇员已经活跃在blogging浪潮中，尽管这已经成为了事实，迄今为止，微软尚未宣布任何一类的公司blogging政策。但是，看起来微软公司正开始表示关注，对其雇员在他们的blog中如何表达他们的意见更加感兴趣。
在星期二，作为关于微软和社区的正在进行的系列讨论的一部分，公司举行内部座谈讨论了雇员Weblogging。
会议由微软美国社团的通信组的一个成员Catherine Feldhausen召集。在会议上，许多微软博客做了陈述，包括Shawn Alexander，Tim Ewald，Beth Goza，Andy Oakley，Robert Scoble，Sara Williams 和Sue Ventura–公司中的高级律师顾问。
一些微软雇员的blog放置在公司的GotDotNet站点上。但大多数雇员不是，而是在他们自己自由的时间里建立和维护。一些微软blog通常专注于个人问题：比如读书，看电影，下馆子。一些人的所有内容都是用来管理所使用.Net的出色代码。而大多数blog的内容似乎在两者之间。
微软对blog的着迷
微软首席安全战略专家Scott Charney (他同时是微软助理首席隐私战略专家)对公司的blogging的网状分布感兴趣。
“我不认为技术应该支配社会的政策，” 当问到在最近的采访中有关他对公司的blogging政策的观点时，Charney告诉微软观察网站，”在通知和抉择中我也是一个坚定的信仰者”。
微软的bloggers，像其他个性鲜明的bloggers一样，与他们的雇主密切联系，行走在谨慎的分界线上。
著名的微软雇员Scoble最近在他的blog中说： “我想书写blog的经理(特别是在微软)总会面临很多困难。如果他们说起任何有趣的东西，都会立即被新闻机构披露，而他们的评论有可能从上下文中被拿掉。”
“如果他们泄漏了策略或者产品计划，他们将会帮助其竞争者。如果他们谈论竞争者，他们将面临法律诉讼。如果他们把商业计划透露给大众，他们可能被股东诉讼，或者其它政府的行动，”Scoble承认道。
虽然微软在公司的blogging方面没有官方的政策，但是近来一些微软的bloggers已经把放弃权利声明添加到他们的站点上。
微软雇员Harry Pierson 在 他的blog上说：”他的blog只谈起’像这样……’，而不用任何保证书，也不授予权力……这个weblog不代表思想，意图，计划或者我的雇主的战略。这仅仅是我的意见”。
其他人已表达他们对微软公司涉及到blogging争吵中的沮丧。
“不可避免地，当大量的批评接踵而至的时候–律师开始注意到了，blogging现在很流行，”另一个微软雇员David Weller，在最近他的blog一个帖子中说，”我所间接地被告知，我应该将一份放弃权利声明放在我的所有帖子中。强调，微软不会支付我写blog，微软不支付我的blogging软件，微软也不支付放置blog的主机费用。”
